NTA JEE Main 2022 Registration Process: With just one week left for JEE Main 2022 Registration to close, it is time for aspirants who are yet to register for it to complete their application process. NTA – National Testing Agency will conclude the NTA JEE Main 2022 April Session exam registration and application process on 31st March 2022. Candidates or aspirants who want to participate/appear for the April session of the engineering entrance exam need to complete their registration process on or before this deadline. JEE Main 2022 Application Forms can be filled online by logging onto the exam portal – jeemain.nta.nic.in.
No Application Correction Window
One of the key changes introduced this time around by the NTA with regards to the JEE Main 2022 application process is the cancellation of the application correction window. For 2022 April session, NTA will not provide any facility for correction of application forms once the application process ends. Therefore, it is important for candidates to ensure that all the details that are being entered by them while filling the JEE Main 2022 Application Form are correct and verified. The official NTA notification in this regard reads ‘The correction in the particulars of the Online Application Form will not be allowed once the Application Form is submitted. Therefore the candidates have to be extremely careful.’
JEE Main 2022 April Session Revised Exam Dates
Recently, NTA also notified changes to the JEE Main 2022 April Session Exam Dates. The exam dates for JEE Main 2022 were changed following the feedback received from students and other stakeholders about the dates clashing with Board Exams of Several States. As per the revised timelines, the JEE Main 2022 Exam will now be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1, 4, 2022.
JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Another key aspect that applicants should be careful about is the JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria. As per the notification, there is no age limit criteria for JEE Main 2022. However, on the academic eligibility front, candidates need to have cleared their Class 12/equivalent qualifying exam in 2020, 2021 or should be appearing for it in 2022. Candidates should note that this criteria is only applicable for the JEE Main 2022 Exam, participating institutes are free to prescribe any other criteria or conditions for admission purposes.

As reported earlier, the JEE Main 2022 Application and Registration process is being run completely online. - Step 1: Log onto the exam portal – nta.nic.in
- Step 2: Find and click on the link for New Candidate Registration
- Step 3: Register yourself on the portal by providing basic details and information
- Step 4: You will receive your ‘application number’
- Step 5: Log onto the portal using your application number and other credentials
- Step 6: Fill-up the detailed form displayed on the screen with personal, academic and contact details
- Step 7: Upload supporting documents including photograph, signature and category documents
- Step 8: Pay the requisite amount of JEE Main 2022 application fee using the digital mode of payment

JEE Main 2022 Application Form – Documents to be Uploaded
As part of the JEE Main 2022 application form, candidates will have to upload a series of documents and images to support their candidature. As per the notification, candidates will be required to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph and a scanned copy of their signature on the portal. In addition to this, candidates who belong to reserved categories also need to upload the relevant category certificate/proof documents on the website.
